Right now I'm a-roaming

One of these days I'll turn the music up loud,
Go to late night parties and hang out with the crowd,
That'll make my mummy and my daddy so proud.
One of these days I'll make good.

One of these days I'm gonna kick the career,
Throw away the tie and take a bus out of here,
End up in the gutter with a bottle of beer.
One of these days I'll make good.

One of these days I'm gonna do something smart,
Sell a few narcotics, break some poor woman's heart,
Give up fruit and vegetables and just live on art.
One of these days I'll make good.

One of these days I'm gonna start life anew -
Stuff my education and my job prospects too.
Cause this is just a silly phase I have to go through
And one of these days I'll make good.
